Roulette Markers- Essential for Playing Roulette

If you have ever played Roulette, the oldest table game, then you know that specific roulette supplies are needed for a successful game. Unlike many table games roulette can’t be played on a blank felt. A special felt with numbers and bet lines is required. Special solid colored chips are also needed as each player receives a single chip color in order to prevent bets from getting mixed up. Of course, the wheel and ball are associated with the game, however in some casinos cards are used to call the numbers. The last essential supply is a Roulette marker.
Once the wheel stops spinning and the ball lands on a number the dealer places a Roulette Marker on the corresponding number on the table felt. The players that have the particular number or adjacent numbers may be winners. It is not until the marker is removed that new bets can be placed. There are many different styles of these Roulette markers, most of which are made of solid acrylic. Markers are usually no taller than 2 ½ inches and are less than 1 ½ inches in diameter. Most of them are clear, often times with a colored bottom which gives the marker a hue of color. All roulette paraphernalia is important, but the marker represents “the winner”.
