The pitch of voice for singers is perhaps the single most important and memorable aspect of a performance, especially if their pitch is bad. When a singer performs with good pitch, the listeners tend to focus on qualities of tone, expression and overall deliverance of the performer. Only when pitch of voice is extraordinarily accurate do listeners tend to notice pitch in a positive perspective.
