Everyone wants to lose weight these days, and most people want to lose it all in one area in particular: the stomach! The stomach is perhaps one of the hardest regions on the body to get into shape. One of the reasons is that it’s an area whose muscle group we don’t use on a regular basis. However, the health benefits of having an abdominal area that’s in shape are enormous. So what is it exactly that you need to do to get your abdominal section in shape? Well the answer is that there are 4 things you have to do to get them to even look flat! First, you have to eat right. It doesn’t matter how hard you workout, if you don’t eat right it won’t matter. Don’t eat any rice, potatoes, bread, or pasta. Try to limit your food consumption to just meats, veggies, and fruits. If this is hard for you get on a meal replacement program like Medifast to make things simpler. Second, drink lots of water. Try drinking 2 liters a day.

Third, you must run at least 5 times to 6 times a week. Do either a morning run or an evening run that lasts at least 20 to 30 minutes. Finally, make sure that you do some abdominal crunches or a workout dvd that works your abdominal muscles. If you do all of these, in a month’s time you will have flatter, sculpted abs. But remember, food is key so try a meal replacment diet for assistance.
